ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Designed by Fatma
Root & Bloom Design grew from my love of plants, natural materials, and creating something unexpected from what nature gives us.
From sculptural succulent art and living installations to drought-tolerant landscapes and hands-on workshops, I approach each project as something personal and one of a kind. My work is inspired by the colors, textures, and natural beauty of coastal California.

Our Philosophy
At Root & Bloom Design, we believe plants can transform the way people experience a space. Inspired by coastlines, architecture, natural forms, and the places we encounter along the way, we bring together succulents, flowers, moss, driftwood, stone, wood, and other natural materials to create living art, landscapes, and custom installations.
With a background in architecture, marine spatial planning, and environmental conservation, each design is approached with creativity and intention. Every piece is shaped by its surroundings and by the story we want the plants and materials to tell.
From handcrafted botanical pieces to large-scale living installations, our goal is to create work that feels connected to nature, thoughtful in its design, and meaningful to the people who experience it.
